Healing Aislinn

Arcos decends from the night sky, the feline Aislinn cradled in his arms beaten and bleeding. As the dark avian's feet touch the earth his scarlet eyes are already aleart, looking for a place to take the injuried girl. She was gushing blood from her ribs and had bruises on her skin. Arcos, not being trained in healing, had only applied pressure to slow the bleeding but that wasn't enough. She needed a healers hands.

Moonlight tells the children to stay back and calls Daron to come forward to give her a helping hand by waving at the fine paladin. Looking at Arcos she says in a hurried voice as she places her hands on the small feline’s rib cage that was gushing blood everywhere. While applying more pressure she asks Daron to cut off the bandage so that she could get a better look. But before the man could ad her in anyway she changed her mind. *”Daron It’s been a long time sense I have seen something this bad. I better heal her some before we take the pressure off. I fear that if I do this too soon she may bleed out before I can heal her fully.* “looking to Arcos a worried frown crosses the woman’s face as she specks* “What happen to her? The more I know the better I can heal her. I need to know every thing.” *slowly an aura of blue light emits from the healers hands and melts into the matted blood fur of the limb woman. She could tell that the wound was deep and that she has lost a lot of blood already. As the blue healing power started to work at making the blood clot Moonlight could tell that the injury had not punctured the lung only grazed it as well as braking s few ribs* “Arcos, Please you need to tell me. Is there anything inside this gash? Did you remove something? And if so what?” *The motherly voice was shaky and rushed*

Daron hurries to the side of his friend, tossing his pack to the ground. He carefully kneels down next to the injured feline, watching the blue light stop the bleeding from the wound. As his fae friend stops to ask the avian for more information, he places his hands carefully on the patient, and casts a healing cure. When he feels a faint pulse, he pulls away and grabbing his dagger and cuts the bandage so to expose the wound. Carefully examining the torn flesh, he looks for evidence of foreign matter hiding within.

Aislinn quickly woke herself up, her skin was very pale as her eyes searched to find people surrounding her. A painful groan escapd from her lips, "W-Where..am I?" she asked weakly. Glancing she saw Arcos and smiled faintly. She felt so bad for putting people in such a frantic mannor. She looked to Moonlight, "M-Mother..some man..attacked me..I woke up and I was like this.." she gasped as she moved her neck. A small amount of blood was coming through the chest of her outfit.

Arcos hovers over them but not so close that he was in the way. The avian nods at Aislinn's words before he hushes her. "Yes, that's what she told me earlier. I didn't have time to check her wounds so I picked her up and flew her here as quickly as I could..." He pause, frowning down at her. "Is this really that bad? Is there a possiblitly that she can...?" He didn't finish. He didn't want to.

Moonlight looks at the blood soaked vestment and frowns twisting her lips to the left. Her hands still holding on either side of the tear of the fabric as she slowly let her lips keep the healing spell going as they moved out of the twist. In her head the spell continued as she listened to the words of Arcos. As his worried spill of words passed by I looked again at Daron and said* “Please we need to cut this vestment away carefully around my hands. I don’t want to cause the clotting to stop so if you could use a steady hand I would be appreciated.” *Now her gaze fell on Aislinn and then Arcos as she worked on keeping the wound from re-opening again.* “No, she will not die this night or the next. For I can feel life inside of her and it’s not just her own that I can sense at this time. Shhh Ais Mama Moon is here and you will be fine in time. Just rest and try to breath slowly and with shallow in-hales. I need you to stay clam.” *The blue healing power was now mixed with a tint of red and yellow as the loving peace started to do its own work in keeping not just the feline clam, but the others that were there as well. Talking once again to Daron the friend that came to help her the words were slow and precise* “After you have cut the fabric away I need you to feel with your hands the best you can and tell me if there is anything inside. At this point I don’t since anything, But I could be wrong.”

Daron nods in agreement to Moonlight's reassurance that the feline creature would survive her injuries. Holding his dagger with both hands, he carefully guides the cutting edge to the area that surrounded the clot. Fortunately, his dagger is razor sharp and cuts through the fabric without effort. Carefully examining the knife for blood, he returns it to it's place on his belt and probes the gash. First one side and then the other, he only finds the damaged tissue and nothing else. Sighing heavily, he stammers "Milady, though the wound is deep, there isn't anything inside. We can heal her completely now."

Aislinn gasped at feeling her wound being searched, her hand reaches for Arcos's. "I'm so sorry.." she winced. tears formed into her eyes. She did not want any of this to happen, not now. She then remembered what her mother had told her to do. She began to breath like she asked her to. She felt dry mouthed, swallowing hard she closed her eyes, trying to not think about it.

Arcos reaches out to touch her hand as he tries to process everything going on. He looks down at Aislinn as he gives her hand a squeeze. "Hush, Aisi, you have nothing to be sorry about. We are going to take care of you." He says, his deep voice trying to calm the feline as they worked on her. Looking over at Moonlight his mind repeats her words over and over, knowing they can only mean one thing. He looks back down at the feline and smiles. "Everything is going to be okay."

Moonlight could feel that the broken ribs were busted cleanly and that there was no jagged edges that she had to deal with so the healing process was going to be the last of what she could do for her for now. Closing her eyes she whispered to Daron * “If you could just see to the burses and make sure that there is no more damage then the beaten flesh that would be great. I will work on healing the gash and ribs the best I can and making sure that the life within her is safe.” *The rainbow of colors melted in and swirled around the small woman as Moonlight’s lips again started to chant. As the spell took hold and drove deeper with in the body of Aislinn the torn flesh started to mend the cleanly broken ribs stated to mend together as well. But the healers worry was on the babies that were deep inside of her still growing. Though the feline had lost a far amount of blood the heart beats were steady and she could tell they were safe. Though Moonlight’s heart was getting weaker she pushed on and doubled the healing power so that it would start healing from the inside out. As the open hole on the outside started to close the wind fae’s own breathing was getting so swallow that her own lips begin to turn a pale shade of blue. Hands shaking now as the song of mending started to end Moon sat back and looked down. Making sure that she could slow her own heart down before she spoke she took her still glowing right hand and placed it on her heart while talking to Daron first* “Please my friend, If you could just place clean bandages on that wound I would be forever grateful.* Tossing her eyes up at Arcos and then letting them fall on Aislinn while in mid sentence these words were spoke* “Arcos, you must give her plenty of fluids and fresh fish for the next two weeks. She needs to build up her strength again for she is with child now and needs to also rest. Aislinn I don’t want you out and about for two weeks. I need you to rest and eat what Arcos brings you. Stay in bed and do as you’re told. For the babies inside you need you well. Do you understand me?” * Moonlight closed her eyes for the pain inside her own chest was not easing up as it should and she smiled anyway for she didn’t want anyone to worry about her. Not now, not ever.*

Daron carefully but thoroughly examines the creature, making sure that all of the wounded areas are properly healed and nothing was forgotten or hidden from the healers' touch. He found bruises, but nothing life threatening. The area at the feline's neck was last to clot but her pulse grew stronger with every breath. Glancing towards his pack, he wonders If there are suitable cloths for bandaging up the torn flesh. "Hmmm, milady I hope you don't mind if I use one of your cloths." Taking one of the largest pieces, he carefully folds it into a long strip of fabric. He winds it around the feline, trying not to irritate the now healing ribs, tucking the edge underneath to keep it snug. Leaning back on his haunches, he listens to the sound of his friends' breathing. Worrying she put too much energy into the healing efforts, he considers his options. As the wind fae's eyes close, he makes his decision and moves so he can put his hands on her shoulders. Quietly, he casts a healing spell, waiting for the results to emerge.

Aislinn opened her eyes to see Moonlight. "Mother..are you okay?" she almost sat up but she knew it would hurt to much so she laid there. Letting her finger intertwine with Arcos's. "Why am I so dumb.." she asked herself quietly. She felt horrible forputing her mother hrough so much, hearing she was pregante even made things worse. She could have killed herself and Arcos's and her children. She cursed under her breath.

Moonlight gave a half smile as Daron places his hands on her shoulders, there wasn’t much anyone could do to help her at this time, but his touch alone help to easy the pain even though the uneven heart beat skipped a beat now and again. Patting the top of the paladin’s hand she looked up and winked at him. It was a sign of thank you and she was sure he knew it but backed it up with words as well. Looking to Aislinn she just gave a light smile. Even though Moon’s lips were still a tent of blue she didn’t want anyone to worry. * “Daron, Thank you for all your help this evening and for just being a wonderful friend that I can always count on, as for you Aislinn don’t you worry about me. I will be fine, I always am.” *Moonlight stood up her legs wobbly for a few moments. Sadie rushed in and took her mother’s pack and gave a blushing smile at Daron before saying* “Are you fishing tonight? Maybe we could all come by and visit some?” *Moonlight tossed a look at Arcos and said* “You, take her home and make her stay in bed. I will check on her in a few days time.” *The wind fae said no more, only turned to whisper to Daron once more*

Daron is finally satisfied that Moonlight is breathing easier, he stands up, surveying the area around him. He arrived in such a hurry that he was not able to introduce himself. Determined to change that, he extended his hand to the avian, introducing himself. "My name is Daron and I am a member of the Champions of Kanos. Moonlight is one of my few friends in these lands and I am honored to assist her this night." Patting the hand of his patient, he nods his greeting. "I must be on my way back to the fishing hole and would be delighted if you would join me, milady." Gathering up his pack, he tilts his head towards the heavens In thanks and starts his journey.

Aislinn smiled at the man and nodded, "Thank you mother and Daron..I apperciate it. It was a pleasure meeting you.." she managed to say weakly. "Crap...now my clothes are all bloody and stained.." she sighed.

Arcos lifted her into his arms after having met Daron and he nods his head to him. "It was nice to meet you also. I cannot thank you enough." He looks down at Aislinn and chuckles, "Don't worry, I have something to remedy your problem when we get home.""
