Is It Knowledge, Or Memories?

Satoshi merely answers with a trilled, "I'll loiter here. Better vantage point et such~." Which is snow-bard speak for 'I'm too lazy to climb down. I'll just eavesdrop and get involved if it isn't a peaceful chat'.

Portea simply remains where he is, arms folded over his chest as he gazes at the offending feline. "You wanted to talk, so talk."

Hikoro hit the forest floor with a loud thud, her boots leaving dragon scaled imprints on the ground as she'd dig her long claws across the ground. Plucking a few blades of glass she'd slowly stand with her arm held out before releasing them, watching which way the wind moved, making sure to stand so that her back lay to the wind, cloak flowing to conceal her form from peering eyes. "I didn't mean to intrude in your home. It was curiousity.. I like to know the locals, and seems you've been, overlooked.."

Portea lofts a brow, not taking too kindly to the potentially threatening gesture. "I know, I like it that way." He replies cooly, those grey eyes of his flashing dangerously in the moonlight.

Hikoro watched the stranger closely, tilting her head to the side. "I see... Can, I at least have a name to call you? It's not often I've had to try so hard to find a shadow in these lands. A very well hidden shadow.." As she spoke this, her words became a whisper in the very end. As if annoyed she'd allowed a face to go unnoticed.

Portea chuckles softly and shakes his head ever so slightly. "A name? No, but I will give you a title, one that should likely prove just as useful as my name, hell, I'll even give you a couple titles, since I'm feeling so generous. I am the Psion." He pauses briefly, letting that teasing bit of information sink in before continuing with the second promised title. "And the Commander of the Eyrie."

Hikoro quirked a brow, not sure whether to feel insulted he saw her as nothing but as threatening as a raindrop or grateful for such information. Eitherway her face emptied of all visible emotion. "So..your friend...a comrad and clansman of The Eyrie as well.. I didn't expect this.."

Portea doesn't need even the slightest facial expression to be able to read someone, he is the psion, after all. "And what did you expect?" He inquires softly, simply humoring the stranger for a little longer.

Hikoro sighs, shaking her head slowly before glancing up to where she'd seen the figure. Offering a name in return for the meer titles. "I suppose I will balance the scale... Shadow Assassin is what my victims call me.." she'd say, hesitant before a slight smirk shown on her face. "And unlike your friend, I have no commander or clan to demand orders.." she spoke smoothely before getting to her last question. "What...is a Psion?..."

Satoshi answers in a sing-song voice, "A brain-buster~. Ker-splat~."

Portea chuckles softly at Satoshi's response. "To those who side against me, I suppose that could be accurate, though I'll settle for saying that Psions are ideal choices for stealing secrets, planting ideas and thoughts, or any number of other surprises."

Hikoro ponders a long moment before a sparkle began to show in her crimson eyes, the cold suspicion no longer remaining. Yet, a sign of respect for such a person that stood before her, to be as laid back as they were. "I see.. Can, Psions retrieve lost memories?..."

Portea nods ever so slightly. "Among other things, yes."

Hikoro sighs, nodding a bit. "You wouldn't happen to do people favors, would you?"

Portea shrugs a little. "It's been known to happen from time to time, when I have the time and inclination."

Satoshi quite possibly just gigglesnorted at Portea's response.

Hikoro ponders a bit before grinning. "How much of these lands do you know? Have any knowledge of the Seals of Hollow?

Portea glances up towards the giglesnorting feline before resettling his gaze on Hikoro. "I know enough to not share any crucial information about them, pry further and you may find yourself with less knowledge than you started out with."

Hikoro sighs, shaking her head before frowning. "Might..I speak with you, simply the two of us? And trust me...Theirs no knowledge of it you could have that I do not know."

Portea shakes his head, finding her claim mildly amusing. "Afraid not, I have pressing business with the one still in the tree, and it's about time I see to that business."

Hikoro nods, turning to make her departure. "Very well. By the way, I still seek such a favore.. My comrad from the first vampire war...forgot why he faught.. If you know as much of the seals as you state, you'd know what war.."

Satoshi said, "Or if you bother to pick up a history book. Or bend a tavern-goer's ear..."

Portea finally starts to turn back to the tree, preparing to simply leap up to one of the branches. "I suggested not prying into anything involving the Seals, I'll not be playing nicely the next time you do."

Hikoro stops a moment, smiling a bit. "Try fighting to hide the seals from the Blood Angels for days on end. Once you've done that, you have no reason to pry. Especially after staring into Movdon's eyes...such emptiness.. Psion, if you wish to hear all of what happened those dark days, seek me out. I can still name all the seals...." she'd whisper, remembering the image of the Blood Angels and Movdon leading them in the search. Something she was greatful was long since over, but sadly, she'd hoped not forgotten.
