Dawn The Blood Donor

Dawn touches down gracefully, just a few meters from the oh so familiar lift of the tree top manor. The avian hesitates for a second, giving her head a little shake to clear it she calls up “ hello anybody home?” then waits chewing her lip..

Arcos appears at the window, his pale form looking out almost sadly as he hears a voice. His frown disappears and he moves for the door, opening it and moving out to look down at Dawn below. "Yes," he says, "Come on up."

Dawn raises her head at the Voice, a unsure smile spreading across her features at the side of Arcos. Opening her wings once again, the avian flutters up towards the balcony “ long time no see?” she states with a grin, touching down next to him.

Arcos offers her a smile, the tips of his fangs accidentally showing between his lips. "That it has." He turns to her, quick, scarlet eyes looking her over. "How have you been lately?"

Dawn swallows hard, a little afraid now, having noticed the tip of the fangs protruding from his lip “ fine” she squeaks, one hand fiddling with the edge of her hood “ its you I’ve been worried about” looking back into his scarlet eyes with a frown .

Arcos frowns back, shifting away from the avain female. His crimson eyes scan his doorway as his lips part to speak. "I have been... adapting well to the curse..." He smirks in spite of himself, his lip twisting over a fang. "But the thirst and the aggression... It's something I cannot ignore."

Dawn forcing a smile, leaning her hip up against the railings “ that’s good “ her body growing rigid in place, watching the fang make its appearance under the twisted lip “yes.. I would imagine they.. would be.. Difficult to ignore’ her eyes flicking to the lift quickly.

Arcos shakes his head. "No, it is not good. I think I've made a mistake too big to correct." He turns back to Dawn. "Is it worth it? Your life for the clan, do you think that's worth it?" He seemed to be going crazy by now but he wasn't being violent so that was a good sign.

Dawn sighs almost I relief. “ if you mean becoming a vampire and getting engaged that woman, I will not lie to you. Yes you did” grinding her teeth angrily, her eyes looking back at him sadly. bravely coming up to him, placing her hands ether side of his cold face. “ But that doesn’t make you a bad person, we all make mistakes, The clan is -not- not life. My friends and family are” she frowns, running a finger over the top of one of his eyebrows “ things use to be so simple.”

Arcos sighs, his gaze falling away as she reached out to touch him. "I... I asked for death... At least like this I can look after my prodinary. My children and my line are very important... Not just to me..." He shakes his head. "I had to escape from the Collective... Death is the only way out." He looks back up to Dawn, his fangs just visible between slightly parted lips. "Now I live through a fate worse than death. I am a blutsauger. A parasite."

Dawn shakes her head, wanting very much to slap him around the face “ Stop it!” almost shouting, pulling his head back up so he was forced to gaze at her, tears in her eyes “ I am sick to death of you talking likes this” gearing at him furiously “ your right about that , you and children are important to me to”

Arcos inhales deeply, thinking over what Dawn had said. "So you... Don't hate me for what I've done?" He blinks at her. "You don't think I'm a monster?"

Dawn’s mouth drops open, staring at him speechless for a moment. “ Arcos, how could you ever think that?” giving him a shake in frustration “I don’t like what you did, But I certainly don’t hate you for it . Anyway your still Arcos aren’t you? ” quoting the word he has said to her with a raised an eyebrow.

Arcos stares at her for a moment before he starts to laugh. Laughing at himself, at his own words. "Yeah," he says, moving over to the railing to look out over the sage forest. "I'm still Arcos... Just a chaotic, bloodthirty Arcos..."

Dawn rolls her eyes with a sighs, following him towards the railings “ yeah, not to mention frustrating, compassionate and gorgeous” smirks slightly.

Arcos smiles before giving her a shrug as he spies her over his shoulder. "Love me or hate me," he says, "I've got my baggage just like everybody else."

Dawn grins back, coming to stand beside him next to the railings “ exactly, “ reaching up to tuck back some of his hair behind his ear, Her face turning serious “ I have some blood wine if you want it”

Arcos smiles at her as he leans up against the railing. "Blood wine?" he asks, his fangs protruding from his mouth, "I was hoping I could get the... real thing?" He smirks at her, giving her a wink.

Dawn chews her lip for a moment, her eyes locking on the fangs briefly “ I did agree to it didn’t I” unravelling her hood and scarf, placing them over the railing, leaving her neck exposed “ just try -not- to kill me” her voice wavering as reliantly stares settling in.

Arcos was actually quick to draw her close to him, his arms wrapping around her body as his lips came close to her ear. "Just relax," he says, his voice cooing seductively, "I am not going to harm you..." He moves lower, his fangs tracing across the skin of her neck. "I know when to stop now... It's all in the heart beat." He pauses to inhale a little, "You ready?"

Dawn shivers in spite of herself as his arms surround her, her body going stiff with fear, “ right..relax” she mutters a little sarcastically, gripping the side of her gown in her fists. When his lips trace her exposed skin, she draws deep steadying breath in and out. After a moments pause, the avian nods her head “yes” screwing up her eyes tight.

Arcos would let his lip come down slowly at first, almost like a kiss. He gave her only a second more to think about it before he applied pressure to his fangs. They were so sharp that she might not even have felt the bite as her crimson blood entered his mouth slowly. The new born didn't even suck, he just let the blood flow on it's own. He knew that if he started sucking he wouldn't be able to stop himself. A little trick he tough himself so far.

Dawn remains still, keeps her eyes tightly shut, for the first part anyway. Having been expecting pain from the fangs entry., yet she had felt a wee bit of pressure on her on neck, but nothing more then that. Relief sweeping thought her form. The avian slowly opens her eyes glancing sideways at Arcos, He was feeding on her, but she didn’t feel a thing.

Arcos slowly begain to swallow her blood, his hands gripping against her as the pressure causes more blood to flow. It was flowing faster now and he was doing his best to keep up with her heart beats. Once they started to weaken he would have to force himself away and he was already getting himself ready for that moment.

Dawn gives a small grasp his hands now griping her a little to tightly. Feeling the warm trickle on her neck flow faster. Swallowing hard the avian closes her eyes once again, breathing growing shallow and laboured.

Arcos felt his mind starting to break and he tore himself away, his body moving backwards as a hand shot out to grab the railing. His breathing was deep and heavy and his fangs were bared as Dawn's blood trickled down the corner of her mouth slowly. His other hand moves to his throat, the thirst still lingering. "Blood wine." He requests through a growl.

Dawn staggers her face plate, as she grips onto the railing to support herself. Her legs shaking so badly she could hardly stand, but a lest she was alive. One hand clamping down on the side of her neck to stop the blood flow and hid it from view “ Its. .in my pack ”she grasps, watching him from the conure of her eye. She slips the bundle off her shoulder to toss it him. “I’m sorry..” she sighs, knowing his thirst must be coursing him pain.

Arcos would have voiced his thanks but right now he had to focus on getting blood so he didn't go insane and rip Dawn to pieces. This was a valid concern. He catches the pack and searches quickly, finding the bottle of blood wine and pulling the cork to drain the bottle of it's liquid. It cooled his throat for the most part, but it was always hard to pull away from blood. He let's the bottle far as he moves forward with her bundle. "Are you going to be okay?" he asks, looking for her bite mark.

Dawn winces unpleasantly, at his urgency to get the wine, she didn’t blame him of it of course, it was just one of those unavoidable things, when you’re a slave to your thirst. “I don’t know, I should be” she says truthly, taking slow even breaths as her heart returns to its normal pace. “ are they really noticeable?“ she asks. Turning to offer him a weak smile dropping her hand from her neck, to show him her bite marks.

Arcos shook his head as he glances over the fang holes. "No, not really. You like to wear a hood and scarf anyway, right?" He smiles. "That should heal up pretty quickly... Maybe I shouldn't have bitten your neck..."

Dawn nods putting her scarf back on, to cover up the marks “ good, I don’t want a certain.. husband of mine to see them” giving him a wink, before preparing herself to leave “ true, I do wear them. Anyway I should leave you in piece. Take care of yourself.. ” a pleading note in her voice, giving him a small kiss on his cheek before she Wadley flies off for home.
